How to Accept Jesus

Core Message:

Accepting Jesus means beginning a personal relationship with God, who offers love, hope, peace, and eternal life.

Why Accept Jesus?

God loves you deeply and wants a relationship with you (John 3:16).
– Jesus came to give you peace and a full life (John 10:10, John 16:33).

How to Accept Jesus:

  1. Recognize your need for God – we all sin and fall short (Romans 3:23).
  2. Understand Jesus died for you – He took the punishment for sin.
  3. Pray and ask for forgiveness – invite Jesus into your life and heart.
  4. Trust that God hears you – ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7).

    Prayer to Accept Jesus:

“Dear God, I want you in my life. Please forgive me for my sins and help me to know what they are as I learn to live for you. Come into my heart and give me your love and hope. I accept you as my Savior who gives me life now and in heaven. Thank you for dying for me and for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

    What if You Feel Unworthy?

    • No one is perfect — even biblical figures like David, Paul, and Peter made serious mistakes.
    • God still loved them and used them because they sought Him, repented, and maintained a relationship with Him.
    • God’s love is unconditional and not based on how “good” you are.
    • You are made clean through Jesus — God wants you, just as you are.

    Final Encouragement:

Don’t let guilt or shame keep you from God. He knows you, loves you, and wants you to come to Him. His love is unlike any human love — it’s perfect and everlasting. You are not alone, and it’s never too late to start your journey with Him.
